With our latest software update, Audigo can now support recording with up to four of our wireless smart microphones at the same time, all connected to the same iPhone. Our patented multi-sync technology ensures the timing accuracy of your recordings.
Each microphone captures a separate audio track into a single project that you can then mix and edit right in the app. A video captured with the app at the same time is automatically synced with the audio mix.
You can find more details on how to set up and record with multiple Audigo microphones in our "How to Multi-Mic" blog post.
No. A subscription is not required. The Audigo mic works with the free Audigo iPhone app to edit and record audio wirelessly while syncing automatically with video shot in the app. Optional monthly plans that offer additional features are not required.
There is no latency when listening back to previously recorded or imported tracks when using headphones. When using wireless headphones, we recommend products from Apple or Beats for the best results. Other wireless products are not specifically tested with Audigo and performance may vary.
As audio is recorded to memory on the mic, then transferred to the phone, there is not a live monitoring option for what you are actively recording.
For multi track recording, or when utilizing the metronome in the Audigo app, we recommend leaving a headphone out of one or adjusting AirPods to allow pass through audio so you can better hear what you are recording.
We do not have a native iPad app at this time but our iPhone app will work on an iPad running iOS 16 or higher.
We do not currently offer a windscreen directly but we highly recommend this one on Amazon. It fits very well.
We have other recommended accessories on this page.
No. With Audigo the recording actually happens on the microphone to the internal memory, so there is no risk of a poor connection, data compression or delay ruining the recording. Once you stop recording, the audio is automatically transferred to the app and synchronized with your project.
You can create video and audio projects with the Audigo mic and app and share directly to these platforms through our app. Our microphone does not connect directly to other apps as an audio source.
Audigo does not function as a USB microphone to connect to a laptop or desktop computer but all audio and video recordings made with Audigo can be easily transfered to other devices using Airplay or through a cloud service like Google Drive or iCloud.
Audigo is not a 360 degree mic. Audigo uses a mid-side pair of condenser microphones - giving the user the flexibility to choose between a directional microphone for superior ambient noise rejection or a variable-width stereo microphone. Unlike other products, Audigo allows users to adjust these settings after the recording has been captured - so you can choose which setting is best for each track as you edit them.
Audigo will export audio files as .wav & .m4a and video files as .mov. Additional file format support will be rolled out over time.
The Audigo app can capture video in 4K or 1080p at either 24, 30, or 60 fps. Availability of video quality settings will be dependent on your iPhone version.
Yes, the Audigo app can support the export of all the files in a given project as individual .wav and .mov files.
Yes. During check-out you will be able to select a shipping address different from the billing address. The gift recipient will be able to create an Audigo account in the app during set-up.
